DONIPHAN — David Scrivner, 44, of Doniphan has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the 2019 murder of Daniel Richardson, whose remains were found in a burned, abandoned home in Ripley County. Scrivner was scheduled to start his trial on Friday, but pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder after a lengthy legal process including a change of judge and a mental health evaluation.
