Dexter Police Department will be involved in a Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high-visibility enforcement campaign between Aug. 14 and Sept. 2, which includes the Labor Day holiday weekend. They will partner with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in this effort, the police department said in a press release. The goal is to deter impaired driving and prevent the tragedies seen in previous Labor Day weekends from happening again...

Notre Dame Regional High School graduate and current Mississippi State University student Elise Edwards, 20, received the opportunity of a lifetime to serve as a page at the recent 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
