VA launches tele emergency care service

The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center has announced the launch of a Tele-Emergency Care service. Tele-emergency care offers immediate access to medical assistance, according to a press release from the VA. Veteran patients can call their VA medical center at 800 numbers, then press 3 to connect with a health care provider 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
