Essex man killed in Friday afternoon accident

An Essex man was killed Friday afternoon after being struck by a camper on County Road 525, three miles east of Bloomfield. According to the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Kimberly D. Carter, 39 of Sikeston, James D. Burns, 65 of Bloomfield and Rondal E. Taylor, 70 of Essex, were westbound in 2012 Dodge Ram towing the camper.
