Preparation for the Dexter High School football season begins Monday, Aug. 12. Truman Christian, son of the late Otis P. Christian and Ovie Chapman Christian, was born on May 28, 1927 in Dexter and departed this life on August 7, 2019 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 92. Mr. Christian was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the Risen Church in Dexter and was a resident of Dexter.
