The Dexter Fire Department responded to a car fire on Pine Street Tuesday afternoon. The blaze was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. The car was a total loss.

The Bernie School Board will meet in their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday Jan. 14. Among the scheduled items discussed will be the announcement of filing dates for school board candidates.
