Rodney Brillhart, 55, of Dexter, died on Nov. 1, 2015, at SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home.

John Earl Dowdy, son of the late Earl Dowdy and Pauline Robertson Dowdy was born on Feb. 25, 1944, in Bernie and died on Oct. 31, 2015, at the SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at the age of 71. Mr. Dowdy was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was an ordained Deacon and a member of the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. He had worked at several Wal-Mart stores as the store manager. Mr. Dowdy had lived in Poplar Bluff for several years, before moving to Dexter...

Virginia G. Parker, daughter of the late Loy Riley "Pat" Patterson and Talitha Ann Aslin Patterson, was born on Jan. 18, 1922, in Dexter and died on Oct. 30, 2015, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau at the age of 93. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau and also a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter for many years...
